Where to begin with this girl!? OK, she is now 3 years old. Very active and very much a GIRL! I mean she wears pink (voluntarily!) She likes to dress up in princess outfits all day long. She likes to pretend to cook and clean. I just wish she REALLY knew how! She broke her arm Nov. 6Th. She broke it while jumping on the bed at her grandma's house. She was pretty funny about it too. She almost had me convinced not to take her to the hospital because she kept saying "it's fine! I'm fine". When we asked her to squeeze our fingers she then turned and said "NO!" That was enough for me to take her in. After getting the cast and realizing it was supper hard..yeah she used it for evil! She would hit the walls, tables and not to mention her brothers with her new bionic arm! She was not very happy when the Dr. took it off.

Well, Alex has done a bit this year. He had his usual sports stuff during the spring. He played football! He was thinking of joining wrestling till he saw the uniform! I don't blame him! He is still going to Thomas Edison Charter School in North Logan. It's a 24 mile ride round trip from school and home. He bought his first CD! Does my heart good to say it was "Journey"! Ahh the good old days. He just turned 11 this month and he is just a hair shorter than me but I feel like in the next few months he will be taller. Every chance he gets he tried to stand right next to me to see if he has still look up to meet my eyes! HE DOES!! SUCKER! The time just seems to be slipping away. I remember taking him home from the hospital and hoping I didn't mess him up too much. I hope I didn't. He seems like a pretty good kid.

WOW, it's been a long time since I have posted anything on our family blog. SO much has happened. Everyone is a year older now. Alex is now 11yrs old., Aeryn is 3 and baby Eli is 1 and going on 2 in April! Here are the lates of the kids!

Alex plays football

Alex has started football. At first he wasn't sure if he could handle the practices. After a week of practice he now says he loves it. His team has practice everyday for an hour and a half. He comes home tired, sweaty and happy. Don't know how that is possible but according to him it is. He has his first real game this Saturday so keep your fingers crossed that he survives it. He's position is defensive lineman. I feel kind of bad for the kids he will be pushing out of the way. He has about 15 lbs. on them. I will write soon let everyone know how it went. Well, our little one is going to be 4 months old soon. Just last week he rolled over for the 1st time. He is doing really well. He sleeps through the night and that makes me very happy. He is the best baby in the world. He loves to smile and tries to talk all the time. He even laughed (out loud) a few weeks ago. He likes being entertained. Here is his latest picture. I will keep everyone updates on the this guy. He has gotten so big so fast!

Yes, you read correctly! My little girl is now 2 years old. It seems like yesterday that we were in Port Lavaca celebrating her first birthday. She had a good time at her party. Her birthday was on a Thursday so I made her Spongebob, "Spongie" (that is what she calls him), cupcakes. She loved them. She sang herself happy birthday and ate cake to the point of almost getting sick. She got a bike from her parents as a gift and a Spongebob outfit. Her big birthday party was on Saturday. I made her a "Spongie" cake and she had fun singing happy birthday to herself again. She may think her birthday is every other day now! I decided to show a few pictures of her party. Enjoy all!

Ok, here are the latest pictures of Eli. He is over 5 weeks old now and looking more like me then ever (poor kid). Well, he was wide awake and took the opportunity to take his photo. He looked pretty happy about it or maybe indifferent. Well, when he is awake he is taking in as much as he can before the sleep takes over him. Sounds like me. He is tons better at sleeping at night. He sleeps about 3 hrs. at a time and only wakes up for 30 mins. to eat and off he goes back to sleepyville. I love this kid. Well, this is short and sweet. Last day as a 3rd Grader

Today was the last day of school for Alex as a third grader. He was so excited he could hardly stand it this morning when he was getting dressed for the day. Today theme was tropical (straw hats). They had authenic Hawaian food served to them today and it was great. He has already exchanged addresses and phone numbers with his friends so they don't lose touch over the summer vacation. He is ready to start the summer and learn to play hockey!? Yes, I am putting him in to learn how to skate. Time will only tell if this will cause permanent damage. I will let everyone know how this is going. If he allows me to actually enroll him in it. :)

Today I

decided to put some new photos of the kids. Instead of them all together I will put them all on their own seperate little entry. I am sure this will get old really fast but as of right now I think they will appreciate the individual attention. I got Aeryn these new outfit to help the general public understand that she IS a little girl. Not sure what it is about her that gives off the "boy" vibe. I am sure the sunglasses will help if there is any question. They have Snow white on the rim and they are pink. Well, she is doing great. Talking a ton more and is into everything. She loves to dance and hug on her little brother Eli. She is still a little rough but getting better. She is 21 months now and on her merry way to being 2. I can't wait to see what that will be like. To be honest if there is such a thing as terrible twos then I am in for a rude awakening. Well, that is all for now. I have two more to go!!!

Hey, it's been a while since I updated everyone on our family. Well, the biggest news is our little boy Eli arrived on April 21st of 2009. He was 7lbs 11 oz. and a whomping 18.5 inches long (poor kid didn't have a chance!). Things weren't as smooth as we liked but it all turned out ok. He came home with us and that is all that matters. Alex is excited to have him in the family and is already talking about forming a club against Aeryn (the terror). We are hoping to have the club disbanned the end of the week. Aeryn is taking it a little harder. She has laid claiming to every blanket in the house and if we try to use it she just comes by and yanks it right from under Eli. We are still working on the word "share". Doesn't seem to be taking. We may have to go out and buy Eli his very own blanket so she knows it's his. She has even claimed me and Mark. If we try to pick him up when he is crying, she will start to cry and say "carry". What can I say my kid is smart. Only problem is my arms are getting tired to carrying both of them around. Well, Eli is now over a week old and is looking more and more like us every day. When I first saw him I had to make sure he was really ours. I had to have Mark replay the video just to make sure there wasn't a mix up at the hospital. It has been confirmed he's ours!! Well, here are a few pictures of our newest addition. Alex's 9th Birthday

Hi everyone! Long time no type. I just wanted to put a few pictures of Alex's 9th birthday party. YES, You all heard me correctly. 9th birthday party. I was about floored when I heard someone asked how old he was. I kept saying 8 for the longest time. But here is living proof that he is now 9 and not looking to get any younger. I hope you enjoy them. The first few pictures are of the 1st party at our home for family. The next are of party #2. Which was for friends. He opted to play lazer tag with his friends from school. It was pretty funny to watch those kids run around shooting each other for about 20 mins.

He shoveled snow for two days to earn the money to get it for her. The dog was from Santa. She loves stuffed animals.

Hi everyone! I hope you are all doing well and had a safe and merry Christmas! Well, the Wilson (us) didn't do very much. We spent Christmas Eve with Mark's family. We had a great time and Santa Claus stopped by to see the kids. I took a few pics and as you can tell Aeryn was not happy to him. She just screamed and tried to get away. I really don't blame her. Poor kid. We played bingo and ate. ALOT. At least I have the baby to blame my weight on right now. After I have him..I may have problems conviencing other (including myself) that it was just baby fat. After the party we came home and slept till the pitter patter of reindeer feet woke us up at about 5:20am the next morning. I should really request a late wake up all. Alex was the first one up and poking me (in the head!) that Santa had come to our home. I have never seen a kid go so crazy in all my life. It was so funny to his eyes about jump out of his head when he saw his gifts. Aeryn no so much. She did enjoy tearing at the paper. Alex was (is) all about Star Wars. He got 2 Star Wars t-shirts and video game (Meemaw and Poah Poah Baldera, 6 action figures (total from grandparents, aunts and uncles), 4 Books and his favorite...A clone trooper voice changer. This was all Star Wars merchandise. Curse George Lucas!!. Aeryn was not as specific with her requests considering she still doesn't talk much. She got plenty of toys and clothes that she was very happy with. So over all the kids were happy that they did not get coal this year, but explained to them there is always next year! Should keep them on their toes for at least 1 week (If I'm lucky). We also had a sit down to remind them as much as we love getting presents the true meaning of Christmas is the greatest gift that was given to us by our older brother Jesus Christ and how much we are thankful for choosing to come to earth for us all. During the time we watched the popular tv specials and programs we asked Alex, " What was missing from all the t.v. shows that is the true meaning of Chirstmas?" I have never been so proud of my boy as I was when he answered "Jesus". So during this time of giving and receiving gifts remember that the most important present has already been given and all we have to do is accept the gift and try every day to be worthy of it. I love you all and hope you have a great rest of your holidays. I love you!

On December 15th, at about 10:30am, I had an appointment with my dr. to have the BIG ultrasound. My growing family and I are happy to announce that we will be welcoming a boy, sometime in April of next year!!!! YAY! Please don't get me wrong. I love and adore my little girl, Aeryn, but boys just seem to be easier so I'm glad my order was correct. Alex was the first one to be told of our happy news. I drove straight from the dr.'s office to his school and pulled him out to let him know. There were punches in the air, along with yells of "YES!!" and high 5's all around. He is so excited. I then called Mark, who was dying to know and was not happy with having to wait a full 25 mins. to find out if he was having a boy or girl. I called him on my cell and said "ok, are you sure you want to know?" He said, "yes! and hurry!". "We are having a boy!" Mark's reply was priceless. "Oh, thank goodness!!" Ha ha ha! After that I called and Text everyone that "Needed to know" ( you know who you all are) :). Well, I tried to scan the ultrasound pictures. Not sure how well they came out. It's kind of like a game. "Do you see what I see? So good luck. I think they are labeled so it shouldn't be too hard. (That's what she said). Sorry couldn't help myself!! Ok, I will let everyone know what is going on with us as much as I can. I hope you all have a wonderful and safe holiday. I love you all. Halloween 2008 (Aeryn 14.5mo, Alex 8yrs)

Well, another Halloween has come and gone. Not without casualties. We have seen the effect that sugar and children meeting together can cause. Hyperness , craziness, the urge to run around and scream "trick or treat". I have documented our experience to warn other parents. Do not turn your back on your KIDS and their Halloween Candy! J/K. The kids were great. We had an opportunity to trick or treat up and down historic Logan. It was really fun and exciting to see all the other crazy people out there. This year Alex decided to be Jango Fet (not Bobah Fet, who wears green) and we dressed little Aeryn is the closest thing we could find that matched her personality. A Monkey. Thank goodness she won't know better till she is older. I hope you enjoy these pictures. Have a good and safe day.

Today the Mark, Barbara and MeeMaw took the kids to the North Logan Pumpkin Walk. Alex loved all the pumpkins and the way they were dressed up to look like some of his favorite characters. Batman, Jack the Pumpkin king and The Incredible Family. Aeryn was just happy to be let loose for a while. Had to keep a handle on her. We took as many pictures of the many displays and the kids. Today was Alex's Halloween party. We had a good time and had loads of fun. I took a few pictures to show how these guys like it done. There was painting, book reading (which I was in charge of) and making of spider cupcakes. There were was much excitement over the dry ice and rootbeer (aka igloo caldron). A new addition to the Family

Today is Oct. 13th, 2008. Mark, Alex, Aeryn and I are happy to announce that we will be expecting another little addition to our family. We had our first Dr. appointment today and He (the doc.) says everything is well and looking good for the the arrival of our little ONE. He/She (hoping for a HE)(but would be happy with a SHE) will be arriving May 5th of 2009. Most likely our little person will be here on either April 21st or 28th. We need a little more time to decided when. We are pretty excited and shocked that will be adding to our family. I will be letting everyone know how everything is going. We should know the sex of the baby in Decemeber. What a great Christmas gift for us!! Ok, that is all for now. I will try to keep this more updated. Have a great one!

Juan and Alexis's Wedding

My brother Juan Pilar Baldera Jr. married the one and only love of his life, Alexis Ramirez. We had the great blessing to be there when this great event unfolded. I am very excited to have a few pictures to share in the love and happiness this day brought to our family. There were many pictures to choose from so I had to pick the ones I liked the most. I really hope you all enjoy them.

Aeryn's 1st Birthday and Walking!

What can I say? There is so much that has beening on that I forget what I have told people and what is still pending news! Aeryn just turned 1 year old AND she is walking. I'm not sure how I feel about either one of those things. My baby is getting bigger and older by the day. She had two birthday parties. One from my parnets in Texas and one for her family here in Utah. She was showered with gift and more importantly with love. I hope when she is older she can appreciate what had been done for her. The first birthday was at Meemaw and Pohpoh Baldera's house. Unfortunatly, my uncle (Joe) passed away that Saturday and therefore her birthday was shared with his funeral. I went ahead with the birthday gathering due to nothing makes a person feel better then a new baby turning 1. I hope it helped my family because I know it helped me. The cake was vanilla with Bolvarian cream filling. Theh frosting was buttercream (pink and white). Her personal cake was chocolate on chocolate (girl after my own heart). It was a good time. She made a mess with the cake but I think she loved it! The second birthday was in Utah. She was surrounded by her uncles and Meemaw Wilson. Her cake was a doll cake that I decided to make her (forgot to take a picture of it!). But one of the best presents she could have given herself was her ability to start walking! She started about 3 days before her bithday. She was taking a few steps then falling but she really took off in Texas. Maybe, she wanted to get away! Well, I am sure I am missing a lot but I am feelign a little tired today. Have a great week!

1st day of 3rd Grade (Alex)

Well, it was the first week of Alex being back @ school. He was very excited to get back to his friends. He has already started a new group with two other friends of his. They have called themselved "The Sketchers" (named after the shoes they were wearing the first day of school). The other two kids are named David and Jen Lin. Very diverse group by the way. Alex is ALREADY complaining about homework. I don't have the heart to tell him he has a long way to go.

Well, what can I say? I like reading other people's blogs so I decided to do my own. I'm such a follower. Mom would ask "If someone were jumping off a bridge would you do it?" And apparently, I would. I am mostly doing this for family members who live so far away from us (or is us that is far from them?). I guess it depends on where you are . Well, there should be a lot done to this in a near future I just need to figure how to get it work. Typical Wilson! The first real blog entry will be about me and my little family.
